SDAART A. MEDIA, TECHNIQUES, PROCESSES
SDAART 1. Drawing
SDAART Use a variety of materials. e.g., pencils, crayons, water-based felt pens, oil crayons, and chalk.
SDAART Draw from memory, imagination, observation.
SDAART Express individual ideas, thoughts, and feelings.
SDAART Use a variety of materials to create composition.
SDAART 2. Painting
SDAART Paint using basic painting tools. e. ., tempera or liquid school acrylic string, brushes, sponges, fingers, found objects.
SDAART Express individual ideas, thoughts, and feeling through painting.
SDAART Use acrylic paint in opaque, transparent and impasto techniques using from and subjects from nature.
SDAART 3. Print Making
SDAART Create prints by manipulating and designing with a variety of materials.
SDAART Use linoleum, woodcuts, or similar materials.
SDAART 4. Sculpture
SDAART Differential between sculpture and two ­dimensional art.
SDAART Hand model, carve, and/or assemble clay, into a composition using simple tools and techniques.
SDAART Express individual ideas, thoughts, and feelings through sculpture.
SDAART Construct three-dimensional works of art from a variety of materials. i.e., clay, wood, plastic paper.
SDAART Wire, cardboard, paper, paper-mache, and boxes.
